Our Story
MCJ Business Services was founded by Dan Berger, a life-long "numbers nerd" living in New Hampshire's Monadnock region. He saw the lack of bookkeeping services in the area and realized he had the skills to fill that gap!
About Dan
Dan was born and raised in Brattleboro, Vermont. He has a B.A from Brown University with a concentration in Economics. He spent a decade living in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked in the financial services industry with varied roles in client services, marketing and technology. He returned to New England in 2017, working for Nasdaq OneReport and Markem-Imaje. He's now proud to call Winchester, New Hampshire home. He's active in his local Catholic parish along with his wife and their growing family.
Dan is passionate about helping small business owners get a clear, current picture of their financial state. He's seen firsthand how confusing reports can be when records are out of date or poorly done. Bookkeeping doesn't just need to be done, it needs to be done well, with patience, persistence and attention to detail. His goal at MCJ Business Services is to build a company to deliver that excellence.
